How to setup Tasker
By using the Tasker action inside of BuzzKill you can trigger any Tasker task when you get a specific notification.
Setup a task in Tasker
Before you start you’ll need to have setup the task you want triggered inside of Tasker. This can be anything you want. Some variables will be available to you from the notification. These are:
| Variable | Purpose |
|---|---|
| %title | The title of the notification |
| %message | The content of the notification |
| %package | The package name of the application, can be found in the URL of the app. For WhatsApp it is “com.whatsapp” |
| %app | The name of the app that is shown on the home screen |
Enable external access
In Tasker, go to preferences and enable “Allow External Access”, this lets BuzzKill access the list of tasks you have available in Tasker.
