Secret

What it does

Replaces the notification with a BuzzKill one that shows your own title, the text “New notification” and an icon of your choice. Used to hide the content of the original notification.

Related settings

• Settings → Secret actions → Allow reading original & opening notification
  • On by default. Adds “Read” and “Open” buttons and lets a tap open the original app. When off, the notification has no buttons and tapping does nothing.

Good to know

• Works with Alarm. The alarm screen shows the secret title and hides the image and buttons.
• Media (e.g. Spotify) and phone call notifications are skipped.
