Sticky

What it does

Replaces the notification with a copy that can’t be swiped away, and adds a “Dismiss” button so you can close it when you’re ready. This prevents you from accidentally swiping away important notifications.

Related settings

• Settings → Sticky actions → Show sticky notification on wearable

  • On by default, Android 14+ only. Keeps the notification visible on your watch.

• Settings → Allow dismissing fixed notifications

  • Affects whether the rule works for notifications the sending app indicated were “ongoing”.

Good to know

• On Android 14+ Android allows any notification to be swiped, so BuzzKill immediately re-sends the copy when you swipe it.
• Can be combined with Add snooze button and Add share button.
• Media (e.g. Spotify) and phone call notifications are skipped.
