Alarm

What it does

Pops up a full screen alarm with looping sound and vibration, even over the lock screen. It plays through the alarm volume, so it ignores a silent ringer and Do Not Disturb. Think of it like an alarm clock for notifications.

• Settings → Alarm actions → Allow alarms when screen is on

• Settings → Alarm actions → Trigger alarm on wearable

  • On by default. Your watch vibrates and can cancel, open or dismiss.

• Settings → Alarm actions → Silence alarm by shaking phone

• Settings → Alarm actions → Silence alarm by volume button

• Settings → Alarm actions → Alarm limit

  • 2 minutes by default. The minimum gap between alarms across all alarm rules.

• Settings → Alarm actions → Cancel alarm after

  • No limit by default.

• Settings → Alarm actions → Delay alarm sound

  • No delay by default. Vibration and the screen start immediately, the sound starts after the delay.

• Settings → Alarm actions → Show toast when alarm is ignored

Good to know

• A delayed alarm is cancelled if the notification disappears before the delay is up.
• Works with a Secret rule. The alarm shows the secret title and hides the image and buttons.
