Attention actions
Pocket check
What it does
When you press the power button while the phone is in your pocket, it vibrates three times if a matching notification arrived since you last unlocked the phone, or once if nothing did. This allows you to see if you have any important notifications without taking your phone out of your pocket.

- “All important notifications” (this is the default)
- “All notifications”
Good to know
- Pocket detection uses the proximity sensor on Pixel phones and the light sensor/motion sensors on other brands, so results can vary by device.
- Media notifications are ignored, so e.g., Spotify won’t count
